Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will soon be one year since its release date. Therefore, an upcoming version will hit the markets shortly. According to the latest leaks, it seems that Galaxy Watch Active 3 could have almost the same specifications as its predecessor.
Fortunately, a series of internal upgrades will make this device stand out from the competition this year. Here is a list of the things that we are expecting from the forthcoming gadget.
Samsung Galaxy will probably hit the market in August, at the same time with the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 20. However, last year the release of Galaxy Watch 2 was announced in February.
Up till now, there has been no official announcement regarding the next smartwatch in the series. The price range would bear a resemblance to the starting price of Galaxy Watch Active 2, which, at the release date, could be found on the market at $279.99.
The expectations from Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 3 smartwatch series
Fans are hoping that the next version of Galaxy Watches will bring the ECG technology. During the release of Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, the developers have advertised the presence of an electrocardiogram, but the feature was never enabled.
Another improvement for this device would be the introduction of a wider variety of third-party apps. Samsung Watches use the Tizen app for downloading the extra features, but unfortunately, this application is even more limited than the watchOS.
The implementation of a physical rotating bezel would improve the navigating experience when interacting with the screen. A rotating crown is a better choice when compared to the rotating bezel that is present today with Samsung’s watches since it is a compact solution.
The latest chipset in Samsung’s watches is Exynos 9110, which up until now has made an overall good impression despite being too slow sometimes. Therefore, a RAM upgrade would be an excellent choice for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 3.
