Only several months are separating us from the launch of Microsoft’s next-generation console Xbox Series X. After having tremendous success with both Xbox One and Xbox 360, Microsoft will prove to the world that gaming can be much more advanced and fun.
Xbox Series X will be vastly superior to its predecessor consoles, and also capable of running some of the Xbox One games. But surely everyone wants to see the official catalog of titles that the next-generation console will be running for its users.
The Xbox Series X games catalog will be announced on May 7
As we don’t have any info about what games will be on the list, we can surely expect to see some impressive titles with mind-blowing graphics. There are some sources claiming that games from Ubisoft will be on the list, which is great news. The French game company is responsible for the arrival of the Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed series, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Watch Dogs, and other impressive titles.
Xbox Series X will be featuring the following specs:
- CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.8GHz (3.6GHz with SMT) 7nm.
- Optical drive: 4K UHD Blu-ray.
- Ports: HDMI 2.1 output, 3x USB 3.2, networking port, expanded storage slot, power input.
- 120 fps support.
- GPU: 12 TFLOPs, 52 CUs at 1.825GHz, Custom RDNA 2.
- Memory: 16GB GDDR6.

However, along with the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 will also arrive in the market. Both Microsoft and Sony will release next-generation consoles, and it’s already looming the upcoming console war. Trying to decide which one of the two consoles is better is the ultimate question in gaming. Even if we don’t know yet what titles will be on the catalog of Xbox Series X, we will get rid of all doubts on May 7.
