WhatsApp May Bring A New Exciting Feature

Since Facebook bought WhatsApp back in 2014, the firm has managed to keep the popular chat app separate from the other services. On the other hand, every once in a while, we are being reminded that WhatsApp is owned by Facebook, just in case we forget.

WaBetaInfo spotted an upcoming feature test according to the latest reports coming from The Next Web. This new feature would redirect you towards the Messagenrr Rooms in order to make video calls with larger groups.

Even if WhatsApp has recently added support for up to eight people in a video call, this number does pale compared to 50 people that would be allowed by the new Messenger Rooms.

TNW reported that WaBetaInfo spotted a link to Messenger Rooms in the latest version of the WhatsApp Web Client after there was a similar feature spotted in the beta version of the Android application.

WhatsApp is working on the integration of the new feature

This is definitely some pretty strong evidence that WhatsApp is working on the integration mentioned above.

The feature is not working yet, as it’s only in development. This is a small change, but it could definitely turn out useful for users who are looking to have video calls within massive groups.

Another issue important to note is the fact that you don’t need a Facebook account in roder to use messenger Rooms – this means that users who don’t have a problem with the lack of encryption should be able to enjoy the new feature.

While you’re waiting for the new feature, make sure to check out how you can get back deleted messages on WhatsApp.

Sometimes it can happen to accidentally delete a message you didn’t get to read. Fortunately, there is a way to access those messages on Android devices, and here are a few solutions you can use to do so.
