Blizzard Entertainment remasters one of its popular real-time strategy games – Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, and it got a new launch date on January 28, 2020. The remaster, dubbed Warcraft 3: Reforged, was first made public at BlizzCon 2018 with a provisory launch date in 2019. It includes remastered variants of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and its expansion The Frozen Time.
Blizzard detailed: “Though we’ve been working hard to get Reforged in your hands before the end of the year, as we started approaching the finish line, we felt we’d need a little extra development time for finishing touches. As always, our goal is to honor the high standards you hold us to.”
Warcraft 3: Reforged will bring some sleek 4K graphics, gameplay mechanics, rebalanced missions, and the skill to introduce custom maps from the initial game into the new one. Players can buy the PC remaster from the Blizzard Shop for only $29.99 or $39.99 for the Spoils of War Edition.

Warcraft 3: Reforged is known as the remastered variant of the 2003 video game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The game keeps the gameplay of the original one, adding some enhanced modding skills, redesigned graphics, balance changes, altered campaign, and modern online Battle.net upgrades. The game received an official and final launch date on January 28, 2020. The developers wanted to produce Starcraft: Remastered initially, but plans turned otherwise.
Moreover, the campaign’s missions are changed to reflect World of Warcraft’s designs of existent locations. Other changes to gameplay, however, will be easily seen in the campaign. Players should also expect other upgrades once the game will be launched.
