The Sims franchise is one of the most popular video game franchises in the world, and many people have played or tried at least one of the titles.
Several years have passed since The Sims 4, the latest entry in the series, arrived on the market. A large amount of expansion and stuff packs has been released, adding a plentiful amount of content, but some players are looking forward to the release of a new entry in the series.
There are many rumors about the game on the internet. Read below to learn more about some of the most anticipated features.
The return of open-world
One of the best traits of The Sims 3 was the fact that your house felt like the part of a large neighborhood, and you could explore it freely without the need to see a loading screen. This offered a lot of interactivity since players could visit other Sims, steal their stuff or start a random discussion.
Maxis removed the feature from The Sims 4 to increase the performance and lower system requirements but many players would love to have it back.
More transport options
Transport options are quite limited in The Sims 4, in comparison to other titles in the series. While users have the option to install mods (at least on PC), more vehicles or transport opportunities would be great.
Include all ages from the start
When The Sims 4 was released, many fans were disappointed by the fact that toddlers were not available in the game. Two years passed before Maxis decided to add them to the game, but the period was quite long for a large number of fans.
Possible release date
At this point, EA and Maxis earn a lot of money from the DLC released for The Sims 4. It is likely that the next game in the series could be released for the new generation of consoles, after or in December 2020.
