The Redmi K30 Pro Could be Released Before Huawei’s P40 Smartphone

As per a new report, Redmi is expected to reveal its next-generation flagship mobile phone, the Redmi K30 Pro, on March 24th, 2020, in China.

Currently, the device is said to be the most affordable smartphone in the world, which also packs the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and support for 5G. Similar to the IQOO 3, the tech giant might also release a 4G version of the device, whose price will be lower than the cost of the 5G-supported Redmi K30 Pro.

According to a reply by Wang Xiaoyan, the Vice President of Xiaomi in China on one of its social media posts, the Redmi K30 Pro will be made available before the Huawei P40 series of smartphones will launch.

Redmi K30 Pro – Possible Specifications

It is rumored that the Redmi K30 Pro will pack a 6.67-inch bezel-less OLED display with FHD+ resolution. Similar to the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro, the new mobile device will also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a pop-up selfie camera.

Under the hood, the Redmi K30 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, and have at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space based on LDDR5x and UFS 3.0 technology. When it comes to the software, the new device will allegedly run on Android 10 and will have a custom MIUI 11 skin.

It is said, as well, that the device will feature a quad-camera array with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX 686 sensor, which is also packed on the regular version of the series, the Redmi K30. Moreover, the camera setup is speculated to include an ultra-wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens, and a macro lens as well.

The Redmi K30 Pro will come with a 4,700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, and it might also have the reverse charging capacity. The device is also rumored to have a 3.5mm headphone jack, like the regular version of the lineup, Redmi K30.
