Bethesda has recently announced that The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is now scheduled to appear in The Elder Scrolls Online. The gaming studio has released a new video teaser for the online version of the game, in which the re-apparition of the Skyrim installment is announced.
The developing team at ZeniMax Online Studios has revealed new information about its forthcoming season of content, dubbed ‘The Dark Heart of Skyrim.’ The launch of its four individual builds starts with The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstrom, which will be released in the first quarter of this year. That content will be available on public test servers starting with the following week.
In the second quarter, ZeniMax Online Studios said it would roll out The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor, a brand new and whole chapter in the current narrative of the renowned MMO. That will unlock the western part of the Skyrim landscapes, known for its mountains covered in snow and tundra. The story will be ‘one of The Elder Scrolls‘ darkest stories yet,’ the studio claimed.
More Interesting Additions
That installment will come with its own collector’s edition, which will pack a statue, a map, and collectible coins. The third or fourth build of the game haven’t been mentioned or announced as of yet, but more details will be unveiled during the E3 2020.
Rolling out during the Dark Heart of Skyrim will be several quality-of-life enhancements, but some new systems as well. Some of those enhancements will ask players to re-download the entire game. The re-installed title will have smaller patches, and smaller size in general, being with 30 gigabytes smaller.
There will also be new world events for gamers who want to participate, and an amplification of the ongoing vampire plague. The developers will also add something known as ‘Antiquities system’ that will enable players to gather ‘furnishing and mementos’ from all over the Tamriel universe.
Overall, ZeniMax Online Studios said that The Dark Heart of Skyrim would add ‘hundreds of hours of additional adventures.’
