Fans of The Elder Scrolls franchise have been aching to learn more details about The Elder Scrolls 6 ever since Todd Howard claimed that the studio is working on a new installment of the series and the teaser trailer debuted.
Many rumors were posted online, but the truth is that little information has been confirmed.
Skyrim’s success was a byproduct of many aspects: First of all, the graphics are still enjoyable though they look dated in 2020. Then there’s the gameplay – there are so many ways to play the game that you can’t get bored of. The storyline is fantastic, and the political notes make it feel more immersive.
We expect a similar structure get implemented in The Elder Scrolls 6, with added elements and creative reimaginations.
Skyrim added no new races to the Elder Scrolls universe, and if the action of the upcoming game will stick to Tamriel, there will probably not be any new races added.
There will undoubtedly be improvements in the movement and aspect of the in-game characters, just like it usually happens with new games.
However, there is a chance to see Sea Elves included in the next game because they are quite popular in The Elder Scrolls Online, and the developers might somehow choose to link the two games.
Possible Release Date
We won’t see a new Elder Scrolls game be released soon. The good news is that the developer has confirmed its release already, so we are one step further.
According to Todd Howard, the new game will be released after Bethesda’s Starfield, which will be launched this year, at best.
Also, The Elder Scrolls 6 will require next-gen hardware to run appropriately on consoles, so we can safely say that we are at least one year away from the game’s release.
