The Elder Scrolls 6 Could be Bethesda’s Next Big Project

A recently listed job position by Bethesda had fans suggest that the company is most likely wrapping up its work on the forthcoming Starfield, which is the next AAA game the studio will be releasing this year.

The Elder Scrolls 6 could be in the middle of full production at the gaming studio’s facility, as recently found job vacancies posted on the company’s website has led fans to believe that it is wrapping up its development of the upcoming sci-fi RPG Starfield and getting to the sixth title of the popular series The Elder Scrolls.

At first, discovered by a user on Reddit, Bethesda Game Studios is hiring several programmers to help with ‘the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles,’ and assist with the ‘implementation of new gameplay features: player and characters’ behaviors, combat and powers mechanics, user interface, etc.’

Bethesda is Wrapping up Starfield

Moreover, the gaming studio has also posted a Video Editor job listing. The position requires creating trailers for the company’s games, suggesting that Starfield is almost ready to be announced to the world with a complete marketing campaign, TV spots, and so on.

Combining the two findings together, it appears that Bethesda has most likely completed the work on the upcoming Starfield, and is ready to get on The Elder Scrolls 6. At least, that is what fans are suggesting.

The gaming studio has not commented on anything regarding the games since it first announced them as next-generation installments at E3 2018. However, with the launch of PS5 and Xbox Series X set for some time at the end of this year, it seems that we would hear more details about both games quite soon.

Bethesda Game Studios is busy supporting Fallout 76 as well, but sure enough, new information about the upcoming titles will be revealed in the following months.
