The Elder Scrolls 6 and GTA 6 Rumors May All Be Fake

Many dedicated gamers have at least one favorite franchise that inspired them to adopt the hobby in the first place. It is likely that most players have played at least one of the titles released in the critically-acclaimed GTA 6 and The Elder Scrolls 6 titles.

GTA 5 and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim continue to attract a significant number of players, but many hope that the studios and the publishers behind the iconic franchises will release new games soon. Some sources have published articles that argue that The Elder Scrolls 6 and GTA 6 games could be launched for the next generation of consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X), but this does not seem to be the case. Read below to learn why it is likely that a long time will pass before these titles will hit the market.

About The Elder Scrolls 6

Bethesda stole the limelight during E3 2018 when a teaser showed that the next Elder Scrolls game could be in the making. However, the developer hasn’t released any updates related to the title since that fateful moment, leaving many fans to wonder about the future of the series.

During an interview offered by a high-ranking Bethesda employee, it was mentioned that The Elder Scrolls 6 would be developed after the successful release of Starfield. Some job listings published a few months ago suggest that Starfield will be release soon, but most hints infer that TES 6 is still in the early stages of development.

About the GTA 6 installment

In the case of GTA 6, the most obvious clue is provided by the lengthy development titles favored by the renowned studio. The average title made by Rockstar Games requires 6 to 8 years of development, with one example being Red Dead Redemption 2. Since RDR 2 was launched in 2018, it is likely that Rockstar may release the new GTA 6 game in 2024.
