Emissions Cuts Could Reduce the Impact of Sea Rising Levels By 50%

On Wednesday, scientists reported findings from new research that expanded on reasons why the world should improve its efforts to reduce global warming. The study showed that emission cuts could reduce the impact of sea level rising by 50%. The scientists said that if the governments were able to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) they could reduce sea levels rising from 10 inches to five by the year 2100.
