This year could be an excellent period for the fans of the free mobile strategy game Clash of Clans. Besides the exciting Clash-O-Ween event, the title is expected to get two significant upgrades: the first one this month, and the second one coming in December.
There is not much talk about these two upcoming updates, apart from some allegedly big rumors about Clash of Clans’ Global Chat feature and the huge Town Hall 13 update.
Supercell, the game developer, has not confirmed anything about those updates as of yet. It is also not sure if the Town Hall 13 upgrade will be incorporated into the upcoming October or December update. The developer is still working on the highly expected Clash-O-Event and has already announced the next Hero skin for the next Season Challenges.
As per some reports, the Town Hall 13 has been completely eliminated for the upcoming October update. That is mainly because Supercell is not confirming anything about the Town Hall 13, and the Clash of Clans World Championship Finals will take place this month.
Moreover, there are also some rumors about the ESL World Finals this October, and that the developer will have no time for significant updates like the Town Hall 13.
The gaming studio usually announces major updates like the one we just mentioned if they are prepared to release it. The only question then is whether the Town Hall 13 will come with one of the two upcoming updates.
With regard to future significant changes to the game’s Global Chat, Supercell has not yet confirmed anything. However, in its earlier blog posts, the developer confirmed plans to get rid of the Global Chat feature and to focus more on enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Developed and released by Supercell, the fantastic Clash of Clans is currently available on all Android and iOS mobile devices.
