A leak from Evan Blass has revealed to us a promotional video of Moto G8 in six seconds. The video is showing us the external design of the phone, and we can only guess the details about the camera setup. Unfortunately, the leaker didn’t give extra information about the phone, but we are guessing that Motorola is working on the device. If the video exists, then it’s must be on the way to be released on the market.
What Is the Promotional Video Revealing?
The new Moto G8 shown in the video may have a polycarbonate body, and the camera setup on the back is showing us three cameras. As for the front, the phone has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. We can see on the right side that we have the on/off button, as well as the volume buttons.
Besides this, the phone has thin bezels and a broad chin at the bottom of the display. We are only guessing the camera setup for the Moto G8 based on its Plus version. If the camera setup has three cameras, we think that the primary camera has 48MP. That could mean that the other two cameras will be for a wide-angle and a depth sensor.
However, if we look at the Moto G8 Plus that is already on the market, we will see a 6.3 inches Full HG + screen with a resolution of 1.080×2.280 pixels. It presents the same waterdrop notch on the front and an aspect ratio of 19:9. When it comes to the internal setup, the Plus model uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665SoC paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. The RAM has 4GB and the internal storage 64GB and 2GHz speed for the CPU. The OS is Android Pie 9.0; the battery has 4.000 mAh, and the front camera sports 25MP.
To sum up, if Moto G8 will follow the same specs as Moto G8 Plus, then we should see a 48MP primary camera on the rear, alongside a 5MP depth sensor and 16 MP full angle camera.
