Signs of a new model were spotted a few months ago when a new budget device surfaced on a Geekbench entry as Samsung Galaxy M01. A few of the specs were listed, but most were classified since it is an unreleased product. Eagle-eyed internet users have spotted an entry related to the device on the WiFi Alliance certification website, as the device has been certified.
Two model numbers have been mentioned on the site: SM-M015F/DS and SM-M015G/DS. At first sight, it can be assumed that we are looking at different versions, but the hardware variations remain a mystery at this point. Within the listing, it is mentioned that the device will offer support for 2.4 GHz b/g/n/ WiFi networks, which is a clear hint that the device will be a part of an affordable range since most mid-range and premium devices tend to be compatible with dual-band WiFi networks.

A significant advantage of the device is represented by the presence of Android 10, which appears to be pre-loaded directly on the device. It will likely be accompanied by a version of the popular Samsung One UI skin, which can be found across many recent devices released by the company.

The amount of RAM may seem a bit low, but it should offer a reasonable experience in a variety of apps and games with low system requirements.
