Riot Games has just announced a new expansion for its card game Legends Of Runeterra. The expansion is titled “Call of The Mountain,” and it will bring a new region to the game: Mount Targon. And what’s really exciting is that there will be nearly 170 new cards in the game by the end of 2020!
New Region and Nearly 170 New Cards Incoming
Call of the Mountain will not just be an expansion, but also a set, with two other expansions coming afterward. The first expansion will be launched on August 26 and it will add 89 cards, 7 new champions, but also new modes and cosmetics. On August 26, a new ranked season will begin.
Then, two more expansions will follow, this meaning an extra 80 cards and a total of 6 other new champions. Let’s check the roadmap for the huge “Call of The Mountain” expansion.

Legends of Runeterra Patches: 1.7, 1.8 and 1.10
More recently, Legends of Runeterra released a new patch – 1.7, which brought along new balance changes, epic quests, new lab rules, as well as a new board and other cosmetics. Patch 1.8 will go live on August 26, and it will last three weeks.
Patch 1.9 will be skipped and replaced by patch 1.10, which will go live on September 16. Expect many balance changes with patch 1.10, noted Riot in their latest announcement. We will make sure to keep you up to date, so check back on our Legends of Runeterra page for more announcements.
