Over 120 Skins Coming in 2020

Riot has announced that this year they will release over 120 skins, a record compared to the past years. Which champions will get skins?

The list includes Skarner, Xerath, Mordekaiser, Kindred, Rek’Sai, Vel’Koz, Karthus, Sion, Twitch, Taric, Pantheon, Nautilus, Trundle, Bard, Ornn, and Taliyah.

Since we’ll see so many skins in 2020, Riot is planning to release new creative thematics for this year. Expect to see Mecha Kingdoms skins on Garen, Leona, Draven, Sett, and Jax. And the good news is that they are all launching TODAY! Here’s how they look:

Events Come With Game Modes

We’ll see all the major events featuring game modes. The event passes will also be tweaked so that they feel more rewarding and players won’t need to grind so that they can complete all the tasks. A more flexible schedule will also be added.

Eternals Can Be Bought With Blue Essence

Riot has listened to all the feedback from the community and has found a way to please its players.

The starter series for Eternals will also be purchasable with blue essence (or RP), and more Eternals will be added as rewards that can be earned in ranked splits.

Unique Eternals will be tweaked and they will come with a toggle to mute them. Riot promises to release them “early this year.”

New Content Coming Later This Year

As for one of the most intriguing teasers in this last video is the fact that Riot is planning to add a new type of content later this year. They said they are not ready to “show” it yet, but they will “announce” it soon – we noticed the accent falling on those two keywords and cannot wait to see what Riot has in store for us!
