Riot Games Teases Teamfight Tactics Set Three, And It’s ‘Out of This World’

As Riot Games began 2020 with a lot of videos talking about the League of Legends Universe and its incoming games, today it’s time to learn more about the auto battler Teamfight Tactics.

Previously, we talked about Teamfight Tactics’ Set Three and when it could be arriving to the game, and now we Riot’s most recent video confirmed our speculation.

Let’s take a look at the video and highlight the most essential details revealed today.

Teamfight Tactics – New Content for Set 2, Set 3 Teased, Item Rework

Before we get all hyped about set 3, let’s not forget that Set 2 still has a lot to offer.

Set 2 Rise of the Elements will be getting new champions and origins – hopefully aside from the most recent additions, Leona and Karma.

Essential items will be reworked as well. We should learn more about this topic in future patches that head over to PBE.

Set Three Is “Out of this World”

Set 3 is the thing we have all been waiting for, and as seen in the splash art from Riot, we should expect have an … “out of this world” experience.

The incoming Set will be using skin lines that focus on “star,” “space,” “project,” “pulse,” considering we’ve just seen the Project, Star Guardian, Odyssey, and Pulsefire League of Legends skin lines.

As for when Set 3 will arrive, we should see it go live in mid-March. This means in a few weeks, we’ll be able to learn more about Set 3 from the PBE client as soon as it’s sent to testing.

TFT of Mobile

Finally, there is some great news about the mobile version of Teamfight Tactics. It will too go live in mid-March “in most countries.”

TFT will be available on both iOS and Android platforms, and it will support full cross-platform play with PC in most regions, according to Riot’s announcement.

Head over to our Teamfight Tactics page for more news and updates.
