The fans of the famous Resident Evil game series have yet another reason to be excited: a remake for the fourth installment of the game is under development. The original game is fifteen years old, and a remake of it is an excellent idea.
But what will the remake version bring new? What platforms will it be available for? When will we see the game running on any platform? Many of us are trying to find answers to those questions.
The game arrives in 2022
According to a recent report, we can bet that Capcom will release Resident Evil 4 Remake somewhere in 2022. And there wasn’t any word about what platforms will the game remake be available for. This hints to the idea that something important is being hidden. And adding the fact that launching the game for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles would hold Capcom back for its other departments, you can get the full picture: chances are very high that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be available only for PC.
But as we’re trying to guess what the remake of the 2005 game will bring new to us, we can make an assumption by looking at a part of the official description from the original version:
“In resident evil 4, special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue the U.S. President’s daughter who has been kidnapped,”
“Leon battles horrific new creatures infested by a new threat called Las Plagas and faces off against an aggressive group of enemies including mind-controlled villagers that are tied to Los Illuminados, the mysterious cult which is behind the abduction.”
Resident Evil 4 Remake is coming fast, and we’re more close to the exact release date with every day and hour that passes. Hopefully, it will beat the original version.
