Resident Evil 3 Remake — Latest News About Safe Rooms

Capcom has talked recently about a misunderstanding about safe rooms in the Resident Evil 3 Remake as Nemesis was seen reaching one. But, as devs explained, not all save areas are safe rooms. Some musical cues would let players easily spot a specially developed, safe room.

Since its beginning, there’s one particular thing about Resident Evil. And it never changed. The safe rooms are a release from the risks on the other side of their entrances. In Resident Evil 3 Remake, however, you won’t be able to take a break that much.

What’s the Future of Safe Rooms in Resident Evil 3 Remake?

In the latest entry of the Official Xbox Magazine, it’s been announced that Nemesis will come as the first opponent in Resident Evil history. More intriguingly, the character can follow you into safe rooms, giving you no time to save your game or heal up. Such a thing comes after it was announced that Nemesis would be more dangerous. This time around, we would have to face a more deadly foe than Mr. X from Resident Evil 2, making it a far more massive threat on the streets of Racoon City.

There are, however, some particular place where Nemesis won’t have the power to follow you. Many of those areas are scripted places that you can quickly return to like former safe houses, providing you some ways to escape the enemy completely. For Jill Valentine, it seems that her creepy stalker won’t let her alone, not even in this part.

Remake Nemesis looks like a real beast and will arrive with more tactics than Tyrant from Resident Evil 2 to find its target. As terrible as it might sound, we’re ready to see how Nemesis would be conquered. Resident Evil 3 Remake is releasing on April 10 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
