Redmi AirDots S is Now Official and is Featuring a Low-Latency Game Mode

After releasing the wireless earbuds dubbed AirDots back in 2019, Redmi has confirmed another accessory, the Redmi AirDots S. It is the successor of the last year’s version. It arrives with a few significant upgrades in comparison. How different is the upcoming accessory? Also, what should we expect from Redmi’s latest improvements?

Redmi AirDots S Features and Specifications

Redmi AirDots S arrives with a Bluetooth 5.0 feature. It provides twice the transmission rate as compared to that of its predecessor, and faster and more stable connectivity. For gamers, there is now a low-latency mode. It can be quickly activated by tapping three times on the handset.

Also, the 4.1 grams earbuds allow you to play or pause music with only one tap. Launching the voice assistant has never been so easy. You only have to double-tap on the handset. Under the hood, a Realtek RTL8763BFR chip powers the Redmi AirdDots S. Once you remove them from their charging case, you’ll notice how quickly they will pair with the last paired device.

Other features include a 40mAh battery that offers up to 4 hours of usage (after a single charge). As for the charging case, it has a 300mAh battery that can provide up to 12 hours of backup. Redmi AirDots S also arrives with a 7.2 dynamic driver unit, comfortable switching between binaural and mono modes, support for Siri and Google Assistant, IPX4 water resistance, and many more yet to be discovered.
