Last year, Google made the headlines when it announced that the Realme 3 Pro would be among the range of devices that will have access to the early release of Android Q.
The announcement was made at the Google I/O 2019 event, which did not happen this year because of the ongoing pandemic.
Despite the pandemic, Google carried on releasing the new Android R developer preview for Pixel models.
Last month, Google released the first public beta of the operating system, which will be arriving on compatible devices starting from September 2020.
Though the Realme 3 Pro Android Q beta update isn’t what we’d like to see he company inspires from, it was undoubtedly a sign of a change and a quick glimpse at the future of their devices.
Realme has pushed the operating system to various devices, including the Realme 2 Pro.
We are getting closer and closer to the full release of Android 11, and we are happy that the Realme X50 Pro joined the trend.
We were aware of the company’s plans to bring the Android 11 beta update to the X50 Pro, and they kept their promise.
Who Can Access The Update?
For the moment, the new update can be downloaded and installed by users from China. However, if you are planning to get the update as soon as you can, you should keep in mind that it’s not yet known how stable the firmware is, so you should put some thought into it – You might not want to take chances with your daily driver device.
There are various online sources where you can download the firmware from, but we recommend that you wait for the firmware’s official release, which will happen sometime in Q4 2020.
