PlayStation 5 and Xbox 2 players will be thrilled to find out which huge franchise, will make a return to the next-gen consoles. Even if some reports about a Mass Effect series were kicked off, we now have more chances to see the BioWare franchise revived. According to a Kotaku statement, Mass Effect seems to have already a status of “very early development.” Such a fact will be likely supported by the release of the PS5 and Xbox 2. BioWare’s producer, Mike Gamble, is said to be developing the game. Any information about a launch date is still unknown. Gamble, however, is known as Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3’s producer, respectively, project manager.
Moreover, Anthem was, too, a Gamble’s project, a game that is currently in a revival process. The game is rumored to be titled “Anthem Next,” according to Kotaku, with support from EA Games and BioWare. As the post states, “Details on Anthem Next are hazy, but among other things, the game’s developers plan to overhaul the loot, the quests, the social aspects of the game…” Also, the post reads, “One person on the project said they’re planning to change the game’s entire structure.”
Such reports could include plans to divide the map into various parts, letting developers the chance to squeeze gameplay features in one place. The post further added, “…Anthem is set on a single contiguous map; separating the map into segments would allow developers to tweak and play around…” Also, developers won’t have to worry about the appearance of bugs or glitches.
The upcoming Mass Effect is possible to be released after the future Dragon Age game’s launch, which is also in development. We’re hoping for the 5th series of Mass Effect to be better than its predecessor.
