PS Plus January 2020: Sony Delays Announcement of Next Month’s Free Games for PS Plus Members

Did you get to see the January 2020 PlayStation Plus lineup? Neither did we because Sony delayed the announcement this month.

Usually, PS Plus games were announced on the last Wednesday of the month, meaning we should have learned the new titles coming in January 2020 this Wednesday, on December 25! Because it was Christmas day, Sony has delayed the announcement and hasn’t yet said anything about it.

When will they announce the free PS4 games for January? Here’s a recap of all the rumors and speculations of the January 2020’s PS Plus lineup.

All You Need to Know About The January 2020’s PS Plus Lineup

The free games for PS Plus members go live every month on the first Tuesday, and this means that the new games for January will go live on January 7th, 2020.

As far as we know, reports show that Sony will probably make the announcement for the lineup on January 1st, which is next Wednesday.

As for predictions as to what the two free games could be, we will take a look back at this year’s January, when Sony chose Steep as the headline title. In January 2020 we could see other games that take place in snowy settings, which could include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Alternatively, Sony could make PS players excited about the incoming Final Fantasy VII Remake or Cyberpunk 2077 by offering Final Fantasy XV or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Looking at the PS Plus January 2020 Prediction thread on Reddit, we see players hoping they would get The Order 1886 next month.
