The free games for PS Plus members go live every month on the first Tuesday, and this means that the new games for January will go live on January 7th, 2020.
As far as we know, reports show that Sony will probably make the announcement for the lineup on January 1st, which is next Wednesday.
As for predictions as to what the two free games could be, we will take a look back at this year’s January, when Sony chose Steep as the headline title. In January 2020 we could see other games that take place in snowy settings, which could include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Alternatively, Sony could make PS players excited about the incoming Final Fantasy VII Remake or Cyberpunk 2077 by offering Final Fantasy XV or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
