Pokémon Go Psychic Spectacular Event Guide: Embark in a New Task

Playing a game like Pokemon Go in this rough period isn’t a good idea since it’s strongly recommended for us to stay at home as much as possible. But after the dreadful pandemic ends, delighting ourselves with an augmented reality game like Pokemon Go is a good idea.

Unlike other Pokemon-related games, Pokemon Go brought a unique concept among the titles about the tremendously popular media franchise.

The celebration of Psychic Spectacular

Thus,  the characters Solosis and Gothita are added to the game. Also, the event will take place from March 27 until March 30. For the first time ever, Baltoy will appear Shiny.

This is the chance for Psychic-type Pokemon to thrive, and thus, characters like Chimecho, Drowzee, Natu, Exeggcute, and others will start spawning more often in the environment.

Who is Baltoy

Baltoy is a small Pokémon that resembles a figurine made of clay. The little pocket monster has psychic abilities, it’s arching, and with red markings over the eyes. Bulbapedia reveals to us where Baltoy has been seen before in the media franchise:

“Baltoy debuted in Me, Myself and Time, under the ownership of Calista. It was first seen spinning around and heading off a cliff, being saved by Pikachu’s Quick Attack. Later, it helped its future self by removing the rocks that were crushing it. It then used Rapid Spin in the middle of a wheel of drawings to reveal the true identity of a mysterious woman, who was actually a future Calista.”

However, Pokemon Go has many more to offer, as the description from Google Play suggest:

“Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 1 billion times and named “Best Mobile Game” by the Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch.”

Pokemon Go is optimized for smartphones and not tablets. It’s compatible with Android phones packed with a minimum amount of 2 GB of RAM. The phones also need to have installed the Version 4.4–7.0+ of Android so that Pokemon Go will work on them.
