New Audi RS3 Sportback Might Get a 2020 Launch

The German manufacturer prepares the upcoming Audi RS3 Sportback for a design revival. The car appears not too different from the next A3 and S3 sedans and hatchbacks. It displays, however, boomerang-styled headlights, a feature encountered at many other next-gen Audi cars, and slim LED taillights.

From the captured shots of the camouflaged RS3, we notice some edgy lines, a little bit aggressive, yet bold, which got softened in the front, where a large round grille pattern is shaped. As we know, Audi prefers to bring to its RS models a lot more attitude through a bold style and enhanced performance. Audi RS3 comes with low-profile tires which embodies the massive brake rotors, and some oval exhaust tips. The ‘race-type’ vehicle could arrive, according to the actual RS 3, with a turbo-charged 2,5-liter 5-cylinder engine. Such components will get the driver to reach an incredible performance of almost 394HP. We expect, however, that Audi will add a little more power to RS3 Sportback’s 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which is still unknown if it’ll get that, but we can hope for the best.

Any details about the car’s launch or other features remain unknown until Audi makes an official statement. Predictions about a 2020 unveiling could, however, be accurate.

The RS3 Performance So Far

The Audi S and RS models are considered to reach another level of driving due to their ‘sport’ high-performance. Audi RS3 developed from an A3 Sportback version, got a 5-cylinder, 2,480 cc turbocharged engine, which reaches 335HP. It also comes with an enhanced seven-speed S Tronic transmission with 2 automatic modes and a manual one, too. RS3 received along time, a quite racing design, with short back and front cuts, edgy lines, a lowered body, 19-inch wheels, or a polished titanium-styling. The RS is, for sure, one of the most competitive sports cars.
