Motorola RAZR Foldable Renders Get Leaked, Revealing Design and Key Components

Motorola is set on announcing its foldable RAZR smartphone at an event in Los Angeles on November 13. Until its global launch, we have seen a fair share of renders and images leaked of the upcoming smartphone.

The images show that this RAZR will have a similar design to the original RAZR’s. Let us check out the images provided by reliable leaker Evan Blass and see what will make this new RAZR a must-have smartphone.

The New RAZR Seen From All Angles

As you can see in the images provided by leaker Evan Blass on Twitter, the RAZR phone looks similar to the original one, including the chin on the bottom, which most likely houses a fingerprint sensor.

RAZR Specs: Display, Chipset, RAM, Storage

Its OLED display is 6.2-inch and can fold in half thanks to a hinge mechanism.

The phone also has a secondary 2.7-inch display that can show the time, weather, and notifications, also allowing users to see themselves while they are taking selfies.

While Samsung Galaxy Fold is a flagship foldable smartphone, Motorola’s new RAZR is offering lower specs, catering for a mid-range market. The phone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, and only has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (the cheaper version comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage).

The new Motorola RAZR is also expected to come with a 2730mAh battery. As for the price, since it comes with a dated chipset, it could go for around $1,500 or less.

That is all we know about its specs so far, but we will not have to wait too much since the global launch is on November 13. That is when we will also see if these leaks check out. We’re pretty sure that the owners of the original RAZR will get nostalgic over this new version and will probably buy it, irrespective of its mid-range specs.
