Motorola Could Launch Its Foldable Phone Next Month

It’s been already reported that Motorola has been working on a foldable phone for a few months, claim various leaks in 2019.

Android Authority reveals that we might not even have to wait too long for this to happen.

Motorola has reportedly sent out some press invites to a November 13 launch event and it seems that Android Central’s invitation reportedly includes a teaser GIF which is revealed by Android Authority as well.

The Motorola foldable phone

The teaser unveils an old flip phone transforming into a device that could very well be the very Motorola foldable phone.

According to the online publication mentioned above, all of this suggests that we might see Motorola’s leaked RAZR foldable phone at the event.

“The Motorola foldable phone is tipped to arrive with a Snapdragon 710 processor (no flagship chipset here), 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The phone is also expected to arrive with a 2,730mAh battery, which is definitely small for a smartphone (foldable or not),” reveals Android Authority.

They also reported that there’s a 6.2-inch OLED screen on the inside and a small, secondary display on the inside.

The form factor is also apparently echoing the old Motorola flip phones.

It’s been revealed a detail regarding the price as well and it seems that the device will reportedly be priced at $1,500.

This makes the phone cheap for a foldable device but a pretty expensive one for a mobile phone.

Microsoft reveals its Surface products

In other foldable-related news, another tech giant, Microsoft did something not expected: it gave us a sneak peek of the Surface products, which will be launched next year.

These new models are known as Surface Neo – with a dual-screen notebook, that will come with an external keyboard, and stylus support, and Surface Duo – which is a foldable smartphone.
