Numerous leaks have been surfacing ahead of the official launch of the Moto G Stylus and the Moto G8 Power, but now Moto has revealed both smartphones. The devices pack some regular hardware under the hood, but it is definite that the G Stylus will be in the spotlight due to the addition of a reliable stylus. The two mobile devices also have a few other fantastic hardware features that are worth noting.
Moto G8 And Moto G Stylus Specs
To begin with, the Moto G Stylus features a 6.4-inch with 2300 x 1080 resolution IPS LCD panel, the octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor, and 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage that can be expanded, Android 10, and a 4,000 mAh battery which supports 10W fast charging.
When it comes to the camera setup, the Moto G Stylus packs a 16MP selfie camera on the front, and three cameras on the back, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP sensor meant for macro shots. The device also comes with a fourth sensor that was named ‘Action Cam,’ but which can only capture videos.
The Moto G Stylus also features stereo speakers and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device includes a fingerprint scanner that is placed under the logo on the backside of it, as well as a USB C port and a Bluetooth 5.
Moto G8 Power Is… A Powerful Device
The Moto G8 Power also comes with a 6.4-inch with 2300 x 1080 resolution display, as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor. Even so, the camera setup is a bit different than that on the Moto G Stylus.
The company is marketing it as a quad-camera smartphone that comes with four sensors on the rear side, including a 16MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP lens meant for macro photography. Also, the device also packs 64GB of internal storage that is expandable and 4GB of RAM.
The Moto G8 Power comes with Android 10 by default and has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, which makes it better and more advanced than the Moto G Stylus. The Moto G8 Power features a 3.5mm headphone jack, an incorporated fingerprint scanner on the back, a USB C port, and Bluetooth 5.0. Both devices will be released in the United States this spring, with the Moto G Stylus expected to cost $299 and the Moto G8 Power’s price allegedly set to $249.
