Monster Hunter teaser is out, Release Date, and more
Although not many movies are coming out this year due to the coronavirus situation, Monster Hunter is right on schedule. Sadly, we have to wait for 2021 to see James Bond coming out from the dead, but at least we have Paul W.S. Anderson’s movie to watch in 2020.
Monster Hunter will arrive in theaters only at the end of the year. According to the latest teaser revealed, the upcoming movie is ready for a December release. The trailer just came out, and you can watch it below:
As all teasers, the short video of the upcoming Monster Hunter film shows almost nothing. We get to see only 13 seconds of footage without swords. Milla Jovovich is holding a minigun, while her crew maneuveres a few rifles. However, we did get a glimpse of the famous Black Diablos, which are basically large monsters.
The swords are part of the Monster Hunter movie, don’t worry about that. According to the synopsis, we will get to see them 100%. Here is the short description of the action/fantasy film:
“When an unexpected sandstorm transports Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures.
As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.”
You can also see the upcoming movie characters in the photo above, with the proper costumes and all. According to an interview, Artemis will yield a dual blade.
