Minecraft Dungeons’ First DLC, Jungle Awakens, Comes Out in July

Minecraft Dungeons‘ first DLC is set to kick off in July, the developer, Mojang, has just announced. The game launched just a while ago, but recently, a massive amount of unexpected information about the DLC packs that may come to Minecraft Dungeons have leaked.

Creeping Winter and Jungle Awakens are the two packs that were previously discovered by a Reddit user, MrTommyboy247, on Nintendo’s eShop webpage for Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition and later removed.

These installments were rumored to bring some new content to the game in order to keep players hooked on its gameplay, but now we have confirmation that the first DLC for the Diablo-like dungeon crawler, Jungle Awakens, will come out in July.

Here’s the official blurb from a Mojang blog post

“In this adventure, you’ll enter a distant, dangerous jungle to fight a mysterious power in three new missions. To defeat the terrors hidden among the vines, you’ll have new weapons, armor, and artifacts at your disposal.

“You’ll get to meet the Leapleaf, Jungle Zombie, Poison Quill Vine, and others! I’ve heard that their social skills are lacking, though, so gear up.”

The second DLC, Creeping Winter, is due to come later this year, but Mojang has not shared any details about what’s in that one. However, the developer did mention that it is working on adding cross-platform play and other brand new free content to Minecraft Dungeons for all players.

Minecraft Dungeons ably proves that you can build anything in Minecraft, which is popular for its Creative mode. This option provides players with an endless support of digital Lego to enjoy. It is the place to create replicas of universities, the Sistine Chapel, or any other interesting building.

All in all, we don’t have to wait for a long time to get more fun in Minecraft Dungeons, especially since Mojang is also planning to release free updates besides the paid DLC packs.
