Microsoft’s Flight Simulator Feature Discovery Series Is Coming

The return of Microsoft’s Flight Simulator Series in 2019 has been announced during the E3, and the developers are doing plenty of hard work to bring regular updates for the flight simulator which is marketed as a video game. It is one of the longest-running, best-known and most comprehensive home flight simulator programs on the market since it had been launched 36 years ago.

Now it’s time for Feature Discovery series to be brought to Microsoft’s game, a series which will be centered around the exploration of some of Flight Simulator’s features in much greater detail than before. A preview for episode one of the series has been released for Insiders, and it can only make fans more eager to get their hands on the new stuff. If you are interested in learning more about what the new game has to offer, you should sign up on its official site.

Release date

The Feature Discovery Series is expected to be launched on October 10th. There will also be some updates for the Insider Program, and who knows what surprises Microsoft could have for users of the flight simulator.

Updated roadmap

The legendary flight simulator is preparing an updated roadmap for fans to explore. We don’t know much about it, unfortunately, since the main focus will shift towards weather, aerodynamics, and cockpits.

Microsoft’s 2019 Flight Simulator will be the sequel for Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition from 2014. From light planes to wide-body jets, you will have the opportunity to fly highly detailed and stunning aircraft in an incredibly realistic world with challenging weather conditions and many other cool features. The future game supports 4K graphics and we can expect it to be available for Windows, MacOS and Xbox One, as in the usual tradition of the game series created by Microsoft.
