Mercedes AMG C63 is Rumored to Get a 4-cylinder Hybrid

Recently, news about the newest version of the Mercedes AMG C63 of getting a 4-cylinder hybrid got us thinking about the car’s performance. The engine is believed to be an electrified one. The Mercedes manufacturers want to make changes for the turbocharged 2.0-liter M139 engine that fuels the A45 AMG. They want apparently to replace the powerful VB, according to an Autocar report. The engine will be the turbocharged 4-cylinder from the AMG A45 S hot hatch. This was one of the best and powerful 4-cylinder engines ever manufactured. With an expected torque of 750nm and an innovative EQ-Boost add-on. The power will come from the 48V onboard battery. Also, from this improvement, the car will get an extra 250 NM. The vehicle will come with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive technology. Autocar, also indicates that the other AMG models will get this high-class performance, for example, the GLC series.

We’re ready, however, to try the new generation of AMG hybrid with the Mercedes company promising more features and enhanced performance. New versions of Mercedes-Benz C-Class are getting ready in a couple of years, and when the AMG models will also arrive, they will come without a V8, as we are expecting.

The history of AMG comes as an independent engineering company that quickly became known for its high-performance and improvements for the Mercedes cars. Mercedes-AMG GmbH is currently a significant owned subsidiary of Daimler AG.

AMG versions, however, had always dressed to impress. Bigger engines enhanced performance features, and a one-of-a-kind look. The models had typically come as aggressive, not even in their looks, but with a higher level of performance. The cars have significantly improved handling, the best stability, and more widespread use of carbon fiber than the regular.
