League of Legends Patch 10.6 Preview: Aphelios, Darius NERFED, Kindred, Morgana, Soraka BUFFED and More Balance Changes Incoming This Week

League of Legends patch 10.6 should go live this week on Wednesday, March 18. The official patch notes will be released tomorrow, but looking at the current PBE changes for the 10.6 cycle and the changelist from Mark Yetter (Riot Scruffy), these next buffs and nerfs will be coming our way.

As we noted in the previous Patch preview for 10.5, we will leave Wukong out of our list since we’re not 100% sure he’s going to make it this patch. As soon as we get some news about the kit rework, we will update you with a full article and take a closer look at the new Monkey King.

Let’s check out the balance changes coming with Patch 10.6 in the following list.

Balance Changes – Champions

NERFS

Aphelios

Severum

  • Lifesteal lowered to 3% − 20% (based on level) – from 8% − 25% (based on level)

 

Infernum

  • Damage to minions lowered to 30% AD – from 45% AD

 

Crescendum

  • Mini-chakram (based on number of Chakrams) damage lowered to 24% − 164% total AD – from

Darius

W – Crippling Strike

  • AD ratio lowered to 40/45/50/55/60% total AD – from 50/55/60/65/70% total AD
  • Mana cost increased to 40 – from 30

 

E – Apprehend

  • Mana cost changed to 70/60/50/40/30 – from 45 (at all ranks)

Garen

Base Stats

  • MR growth per level lowered to 0.75 – from 1.25

 

E – Judgment

  • Critical strike damage lowered to 33% – from 50%

Senna

Passive – Absolution

  • Weakened Soul cooldown per champion changed to 6/5/4 (based on level) seconds – from 4 at all levels
  • Bonus attack damage per stack lowered to 0.75 – from 1

Shaco

R – Hallucinate

  • Clone auto attack damage lowered to 60% total AD – from 75% total AD

 

BUFFS

Anivia

R – Glacial Storm

  • Frostbite debuff duration increased to 3 seconds – from 2

Brand

Passive – Blaze

  • [New]: “Brand deals 120% damage to monsters and deals a maximum of 80 damage per second.”

Draven

W – Blood Rush

  • Movement speed increased to 50/55/60/65/70% – from 40/45/50/55/60%

Hecarim

R – Onslaught of Shadows

  • Fear duration increased to 0.75 − 2 seconds (based on distance) – from 0.75 − 1.5 (based on distance)

Kindred

Base Stats

  • AD growth per level increased to 2.5 – from 2.26

 

W – Wolf’s Frenzy

  • Maximum heal increased to 49 − 100 (based on level) – from 32 − 100 (based on level)

 

R – Lamb’s Respite

  • Heal increased to 200-400 – from 200-300

Morgana

Base Stats

  • Base movement speed increased to 335 – from 330

 

W – Tormented Shadow

[New]:Now deals 50% bonus damage against non-epic monsters.”

 

E – Black Shield

  • Base shield increased to 80/135/190/245/300 – from 60/120/180/240/300

Ryze

Base Stats

  • Mana regeneration growth per level increased to 1 – from 0.8

 

W – Rune Prison

  • Base damage increased to 80/110/140/170/200 – from 80/100/120/140/160

Shen

Q – Twilight Assault

  • Maximum monster damage increased to 120/140/160/180/200 – from 75/100/125/150/175

Soraka

Q – Starcall

  • Bonus movement speed increased to 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% from 10/12.5/15/17.5/20%
  • Base heal increased to 50/60/70/80/90 – from 40/50/60/70/80

Teemo

Q – Blinding Dart

  • [New]: “Teemo blinds minions and monsters for 200% of his blind’s base duration.”

 

E – Toxic Shot

  • [New]: “Toxic Shot’s poison does 150% damage to monsters.”

Twisted Fate

W – Pick a Card

  • Blue card AP ratio increased to 90% AP – from 50% AP
  • Red card AP ratio increased to 60% AP – from 50% AP

Urgot

Q – Corrosive Charge

  • Slow duration increased to 1.25 seconds – from 1

 

E – Disdain

  • Stun duration increased to 1 second – from 0.75

Veigar

Base Stats

  • Base AD increased to 52 – from 50.71
  • AD growth per level lowered to 2.7 – from 2.625
  • Base armor increased to 23 – from 22.55

 

Q – Baleful Strike

  • Base damage increased to 80/120/160/200/240 – from 70/110/150/190/230

Xerath

W – Eye of Destruction

  • Bonus damage increased to 66.7% – from 50%

 

R – Rite of the Arcane

  • Base damage increased to 200/250/300 – from 200/240/280
  • AP ratio increased to 45% AP – from 43% AP

Yorick

Passive – Shepherd of Souls

  • [New]:Large monsters that die near Yorick leave a ”
  • [New]: “Ghouls take 50% reduced damage from monsters.”

Zyra

Passive – Garden of Thorns

  • [New]:Plants now deal 50% bonus damage against non-epic monsters.”

 

Balance Changes: Summoner Spells

Teleport

  • Cooldown changed to 420 − 240 (based on level) seconds – from 360 at all levels.
  • [New]: “Grants 30% − 45% (based on level) bonus movement speed for 3 seconds on arrival.”

 

Balance Changes: Items

The following items: Hunter’s Talisman, Hunter’s Machete, Skirmisher’s Sabre, and Stalker’s Blade will have a new effect due to the Monster Hunter effect that will lower minion XB by 50%:

  • [New]:If your gold earned from minion kills is greater than 50% of your gold earned from monster kills, lane minions will reward 13 less gold and 50% less experience per kill. This restriction is removed at 14:00 game time.”
