League of Legends Patch 10.5 Notes – Balance Changes to Summoners Rift Champions, Items and More

League of Legends patch 10.5 goes live in the early hours of March 4th, so Riot has just released the official patch notes. Here, you will only see the full balance changes list Patch 10.5 will bring tomorrow.

You’ll notice Wukong has again been pushed to testing for PBE 10.6, which isn’t really surprising since it’s been going like that for the past few months. Nonetheless, we’ve got an Amumu nerf and Sona is getting back her W speed. Add the buff to support items and we think she could be back in the game, this time only as a support and not a top laner! Let’s check out the balance changes in the following list.

Balance Changes – Champions

Alistar

Base Stats

  • HP increased to 600 – from 575

Passive – Triumphant Roar

  • [Changed]: Once Triumph stacks are consumed, Alistar can gain new stacks immediately (Triumphant Roar still can’t proc more than once every 3 seconds)

Amumu

R – Curse of the Sad Mummy

  •  cooldown increased to 150/125/100 – from 130/115/100

Bard

Passive – Traveler’s Call

  • Damage per 5 chimes lowered to 12 – from 15

Blitzcrank

Base Stats

  • Base Armor lowered to 37 – from 40

Graves

  • Magic resist increased to 32 – from 30
  • MR per level increased to 1.25 – from 1

 

Q – End of the Line

  • Mana cost changed to 60 at all ranks – from 60/65/70/75/80
  • cooldown lowered to 12/11/10/9/8 – from 13/12/11/10/9

Kai’Sa

Q – Icathian Rain

  • AP ratio lowered to 25% – from 40%
  • Evolved Missiles increased to 12 – from 10

 

W – Void Seeker

  • Damage increased to [30/55/80/105/130 (+70% AP)(+130% tAD) – from [20/45/70/95/120 (+60% AP)(+150% tAD)
  • Evolved CD refund increased to 70% – from 50%

Kayn

Passive – The Darkin Scythe

  • orb spawn rate changed to “Increases constantly (every second) after 5 minutes, flattening out at 13 minutes” – from [increases at 8/12 minutes]

 

W – Blade’s Reach

  •  slow increased to 70% – from 60%

Lissandra

Q – Ice Shard

  • AP ratio increased to 80% – from 70%

Neeko

Base Stats

  • Attack speed per level increased to 3.5% – from 3%
  • Attack speed ratio increased to 0.670 – from 0.645

 

E – Tangle-Barbs

  • AP ratio increased to 60% – from 40%

 

R – Pop Blossom

  • Shield increased to [75/100/125 (+75% AP)] – from [50/80/110 (+50% AP)]

Ornn

Passive – Living Forge

  • Brittle proc damage lowered to 10-18% target’s maximum health (level 1-18) – from 12-20.5% target’s maximum health (level 1-18)
  • Ornn’s Level to masterwork items for himself increased to 13 – from 12
  • Ornn’s Level to masterwork items for allies increased to 14 – from 13

Rammus

Base Stats

  • Attack speed ratio lowered to 0.625 – from 0.656

Sett

Base Stats

  • Base armor lowered to 33 – from 37
  • Base HP regen lowered to 7 – from 8
  • HP regen per level lowered to 0.5 – from 0.75

 

R – The Show Stopper

  • slow duration lowered to 1s – from 1.5s

Sivir

Q – Boomerang Blade

  • damage per pass changed to [35/50/65/80/95 (+70/85/100/115/130% total AD)(+50% AP)] – from [35/55/75/95/115 (+70/80/90/100/110% total AD)(+50% AP)

 

R – On the Hunt

  • minimum movement speed changed to 20/25/30% –  from 20% to all ranks

Sona

Base Stats

  • attack damage increased to 49 – from 45
  • attack damage per level increased to 3 – from 2

 

E – Song of Celerity

  • self-movement speed increased to 20% – from 10/11/12/13/14%

 

Balance Changes to Jungle Champions

Darius

  • Hemorrhage damage to monsters increased to 175% – from 120%

Mordekaiser

  • Darkness Rise max damage to monsters increased to 28-164 (lv 1-18) – from 25-110 (lv 1-18)

Poppy

  • Hammer Shock max health damage cap vs non-champions increased to 50/80/110/140/170 – from 40/60/80/100/120

 

Balance Changes – Turrets and Items

Turret Plates

  • Gold per plate increased to 160 – from 120
  • Turret plates take -17% damage from Ranged champions
  • Outer Turret armor and magic resistance lowered to 15/50/85/120/155 (at 0-4 plates lost) – from 40/80/120/160/200 (at 0-4 plates lost)
  • Resistances per Bulwark Stack, per nearby enemy champion increased to 45 – from 35

 

Items

The tribute passive for the items: Frostfang, Harrowing Crescent, Spectral Sickle, and Spellthief’s Edge has been changed to:

“While nearby an ally champion (even dead ally champions) within 2000 range, damaging spells and attacks against champions or buildings grant 15 gold.”

Boots of Swiftness

  • Movement speed increased to 60 from 55

Boots of Mobility

  • Cost increased to 1000 – from 900

Ravenous Hydra

  • Lifesteal increased to 18% – from 12%
  • Active radius increased to 450 – from 400
  • Active center point changed to “At your basic attack range” – from “125 distance in front of you”

Blade of the Ruined King

  • Unique passive – Melee users now deal 12% damage of target’s health damage (for melee users), 8% target’s current health for ranged users

Titanic Hydra

  • Unique passive – Cleave
  • basic attack damage increased to [5 + 1.5% of your max health] – from [5 + 1% of your max health]
  • splash damage increased to [40 + 3% of your max health] – from [40 + 2.5% of your max health]

ARAM Balance Changes

Buffs

  • Akali: buffed to [+18% damage dealt & -15% damage taken] – from [+18% damage dealt & -12% damage taken]

Nerfs

  • Alistar: nerfed to +5% damage taken – from Normal stats
  • Yuumi: nerfed to Normal stats – from +5% damage dealt
  • Zac: nerfed to Normal stats – from +5% damage dealt
