League of Legends is currently running patch 10.13, but we all look forward to the next patch to see what other champions will get buffed and nerfed. Right now, patch 10.14 is being tested on the PBE (Public Beta Environment) client and thanks to the latest update from Mark Yetter on Twitter, we’ve got the updated changelist for all the nerfs and buffs. Let’s check them all together below.
Some of the balance changes below may be tweaked before they all go to the live client on July 8 when Patch 10.14 will be available.
Nerfs
Ezreal
E – Arcane Shift
- Cooldown increased to 28/25/22/19/16 – from 25/22/19/16/13
Trundle
W – Frozen Domain
- Attack speed lowered to 20/40/60/80/100% – from 30/47.5/65/82.5/100%
Varus
Q – Piercing Arrow
- Maximum damage AD ratio lowered to [125-145% by spell rank] – from 150%
- Minimum damage AD ratio lowered to [83-97% by spell rank] – from 100%
E – Hail of Arrows
- Damage lowered to 50/90/130/170/210 – from 70/105/140/175/210
Volibear
Base Stats
- Base attack speed lowered to .625 – from .66
W – Frenzied Maul
- Healing from monsters lowered to 50% – from 100%
Wukong
R – Cyclone
- Knockup duration lowered to .6 – from .75
Buffs
You will spot some strange changes on Pyke, who got placed in the Buffs category. That’s because he got some nerfs for mid lane, but received buffs so that he would be more viable as a support champion.
Alistar
Q – Pulverize
- Cooldown lowered to 15/14/13/12/11 – from 17/16/15/14/13
Karthus
Base Stats
- Health increased to 550 – from 528
- Movespeed increased to 335 – from 325
Q – Lay Waste
- damage increased to [50/70/90/110/130 (+35% AP)] – from [45/65/85/105/125 (+30% AP)]
- Damage to monsters lowered to 80% – from 100%
E – Defile
- Mana restore changed to [always] – from [only when spell is togged off]
- Tick rate increased to [4 per second] – from [1 per second]
Kha’Zix
Q – Taste Their Fear
- Isolation multiplier increased to 2.2 – from 2
Pyke
Base Stats
- Armor per level lowered to 3.5 – from 5
- MR per level lowered to 1.25 – from 1.5
Q – Bone Skewer
- damage increased to 85/135/185/235/285 – from 75/125/175/225/275
- mana cost changed to 50/55/60/65/70 – from 70
W – Ghostwater Dive
- Movement speed lowered to 40% – from 40/45/50/55/60%
E – Phantom Undertow
- Damage increased to 105/135/165/195/225 – from 95/125/155/185/215
Riven
Passive – Runic Blade
- Damage increased to 30-60% total AD (scaling with champion level) – from 25-50% total AD
Sejuani
E – Permafrost
- Damage increased to 55/105/155/205/255 – from 40/90/140/190/240
Zed
W – Living Shadow
- Missile speed increased to 2500 – from 1750
- Cooldown lowered to 20/18.5/17/15.5/14 – from 22/20/18/16/14
Summoner Spells
Ghost
- Movement speed increased to 24-48% (based on level) – from 20-40% (based on level)
Runes
Predator (Domination Keystone)
- Damage increased to 40-120 (based on level) – from 30-90 (based on level)
- Cooldown lowered to 90-60 (based on level) – from 100-70 (based on level)
Note that the balance changes above were shared by the League of Legends lead gameplay designer Mark Yetter and are just a patch preview. The changes we see are currently being tested on the PBE client and might be subject to change. Patch 10.14 will go live on July 8 and we should see the final form of the changelist on Friday.
