League of Legends Patch 10.11 Notes: Volibear Update and Marksman Buff Go Live on May 28

League of Legends patch 10.11 will go live tomorrow, on May 28, and it will bring the highly awaited Volibear update, and the marksman champions, but also to champions like Lux, Fiddle and balance changes to a few items as well. Riot has released the official patch notes on the League of Legends website. Let’s check all the balance changes coming with patch 10.11 in League of Legends.

Champion Balance Changes

Fiddlesticks

Passive – A Harmless Scarecrow

  • Time for Fiddle to activate scarecrow pose increased to 2s – from 1s

 

Q – Terrify

  • [NEW] BRAAIIINS: Fiddlesticks’ abilities now Terrify enemies if cast while he is posing as an effigy.

 

W – Bountiful Harvest

  • “minion damage mod reduced to 40% reduction – from 60% reduction”

Gangplank

  • Attack speed ratio increased to 0.69 – from 0.658

Graves

End of the Line (Q)

  • AD ratio lowered to 80% – from 100%

Hecarim

Q – Rampage

  • Base damage increased to 60/102/144/186/228 – from 55/95/135/175/215
  • Minion damage reduction increased to 40%- from 3%

Janna

W – Zephyr

  • Base damage lowered to 55/85/115/145/175 – from 55/90/125/160/195

Kai’Sa

Base Stats

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

 

Q – Icathian Rain

  • AD ratio increased to 40% – from 35%

 

R – Killer Instinct

  • Range changed to 1500/2250/3000 – from 1500/2000/2500

Lux

E – Lucent Singularity

  • Slow linger increased to 1s – from .25s

Syndra

E – Scatter the Weak

  • Cooldown increased to 18/17/16/15/14 seconds – from 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

Talon

Q – Noxian Diplomacy

  • Mana cost increased to 40 – from 30
  • Heal lowered to 10-70 (levels 1-18) – from 20-71 (levels 1-18)

 

Balance Changes to Marksman Champions

Riot explained in its official patch 10.11 notes why Marksman Champions were buffed. They noted marksman champions were not really as good as intended in early game, and they had to rely on their support to make it further into mid-game. The boost in mobility and health should help players that choose the AD Carry role. Some ADCs got further buffs. Here are the boosted champions, and you’ll notice not all of them were buffed (Corki, Kindred, Quinn, Senna, and Graves).

Aphelios

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Ashe

  • Base HP increased to 570 – from 539
  • HP/level increased to 87 – from 85

Caitlyn

  • Base HP increased to 510 – from 481
  • HP/level increased to 93 – from 91

Draven

  • Base HP increased to 605 – from 574
  • HP/level increased to 90 – from 88

Ezreal

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Jhin

  • Base HP increased to 585 – from 556
  • HP/level increased to 93 – from 91

Jinx

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Kai’Sa

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Kog’Maw

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Miss Fortune

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Sivir

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500
  • HP/level increased to 88 – from 86

Twitch

  • Base HP increased to 530 – from 500

Varus

Xayah

Marksman Champions – Solo Laners

The following champions have seen some specific buffs to help them play in solo lanes, so there are not necessarily buffs, but changes that would work on a solo lane.

Lucian

Passive – Lightslinger

  • Second strike critical damage increased to 100% AD – from 75% AD

Kalista

W – Sentinel

  • Mana cost lowered to No cost – from 20 Mana
  • Bonus magic damage changed to 14/15/16/17/18% target’s max health – from 10/12/14/16/18% target’s maximum health

Tristana

  • Attack speed ratio increased to 0.679 – from 0.656

Vayne

Q – Tumble

  • bonus damage increased to 60/65/70/75/80% of total attack damage – from 50/55/60/65/70% of total attack damage

 

Item Balance Changes

Phantom Dancer, Rapid Firecannon, Runaan’s Hurricane, Statikk Shiv, Zeal:

  • Movement speed increased to 7% – from 5%
