League Of Legends Is On Its Way To Console And Mobile In 2020

League of Legends fans can start celebrating. Riot Games revealed that there’s a brand new version of the popular MOBA called Wild Rift that is launching on both unspecified consoles and mobile devices.

The game developers made this massive and exciting announcement just earlier, and it’s been also revealed that Wild Rift will be delivering the very same MOBA experience that LoL does on PCs but with minor tweaks as well.

Wild Rift will offer the same fun of gameplay experience

Wild Rift will be just as fun to play as LoL on PC. On the other hand, it’s worth noting that there are some tweaks that are serving the purpose of better accommodating MOBA to different platforms.

For instance, it’s been revealed that the UI will be featuring a new twin-stick control scheme, and also a new map and shorter matches. The latter will reportdly last around 15 to 20 minutes.

“Wild Rift is not a port of League of Legends on PC. It is a new game built from scratch to ensure it is a polished, legitimate League of Legends experience that’s worth players’ time,” according to a statement released by Riot Games.

Shorter matches

Regarding the length of the games, on PC you often end up picking champions that own this special skill which makes them ideal for the late game. This means that a match can last for more than 30 minutes.

This will not be happening anymore on the mobile Wild Rift.

The reason for which developers decided to shorten the overall length of a match is to avoid boredom for players.

It’s also worth menti0opning that Riot Games revealed that Wild Rift will come out sometime in 2020 and more than that registration is currently available from the Google Play Store.

Speaking of the store, it’s been recently revealed that a few upcoming Play Store security features would bring even more safety to users’ devices.
