League of Legends 10.1 PBE Patch Update – All the Champions and Items Balance Changes

League of Legends next patch is set to be released to the live client on January 8, 2020, and it will be massive, considering it not only brings forth the new champion Sett, but also a lot of balance changes to champions, items, and runes. Aside from the many skin sets such as Mecha Kingdoms, Dragon Slayer, and Guardian of the Sands, we can all agree we’re looking forward to patch 10.1.

Champion Balance Changes

Aurelion Sol

Passive – Center of the Universe

  • Damage lowered to 12-130 – from 16-120

Azir

R – Emperor’s Divide

  • Wall duration increased to 5 – from 3
  • Damage increased to 175/325/475 – from 150/250/450

Corki

R – Missile Barrage

  • Damage increased to 90/125/160 – from 90/115/140

Jayce

Cannon Q – Shock Blast

  • Damage increased to 55/110/165/220/275/330 – from 55/105/155/205/255/305

Kalista

Base Stats

  • HP/level increased to 100 – from 89
  • Armor/level increased to 4 – from 3.5

Kassadin

Base Stats

  • Base move speed lowered to 335 – from 340

Nami

E – Tidecaller’s Blessing

  • [New] – ability empowers basic attacks AND spells
  • [New] – tooltip update:

“Deal 33/35/37/39/41/43/45/47/49/50/52/54/56/58/60/62/64/66% damage to non-champions when empowering Area of Effect spells.”


Sejuani

Base Stats

  • HP/level increased to 100 – from 95

 

E – Permafrost

  • Damage increased to 40/90/140/190/240 – from 40/80/120/160/200

Sett

W – Haymaker

  • Shield duration increased to 3 seconds – from 2 seconds
  • Damage increased to 90/125/160/195/230 – from 60/85/110/135/160

Shyvana

Passive – Fury of the Dragonborn

  • [New]“Shyvana passive now gains a stack with Elder Dragon”
  • [New]“Cloud Dragon now increases fury gains on Shyvana by the same amount of Ult CDR it grants (because her ult has no actual cooldown)”

 

E – Flame Breath

  • On hit damage increased to 3.75% Max Health – from 3.25% Max Health
  • Monster damage cap increased to 150 – from 100

Sylas

Base Stats

  • Base HP lowered to 525 – from 585
  • HP per level increased to 115 – from 95
  • Base armor lowered to 27 – from 32
  • Armor per level increased to 4 – from 3
  • MR lowered to 32 – from 39
  • MR per level increased to 1.75 – from 1.25

 

Passive – Petricite Burst

  • Max charges increased to 3 – from 2
  • AOE range lowered to 300 – from 400
  • Primary target damage AP ratio increased to 25% – from 20%
  • New – “While Sylas has a charge of Petricite Burst, he gains 60% attack speed”

 

Q – Chain Lash

  • Base damage changed to [40/55/70/85/100 (+40% AP)] – from [45/70/95/120/145 (+60% AP)]
  • Secondary damage changed to [60/105/150/195/240 (+80% AP)] – from [45/70/95/120/145 (+60% AP)]
  • Slow duration lowered to 1.5 seconds – from 2 seconds
  • Cooldown increased to 10/9/8/7/6 – from 9/8/7/6/5
  • Minions damage lowered to 40% – from 55%

 

W – Kingslayer

  • Cooldown changed to 14/12.5/11/9.5/8 – from 14/13.5/13/12.5/12
  • Mana increased to 70/80/90/100/110 – from 45/45/50/55/60
  • Damage AP ratio increased to 85% AP – from 65% AP.
  • Base healing changed to [30/60/90/120/150 (+60% AP)] from [70/90/110/130/150 (+50% AP)]
  • Healing amp at >40% health lowered to 50% from 75%
  • Health AP ratio lowered to 50% from 60%
  • [Removed] – Damage increased by 50% against enemy below 40% of max health
  • [Removed] – resets Sylas’ basic attack timer
  • [Changed] – “Heal effect always goes off, so you no longer need to hit a champion to heal”

 

E – Abscond/Abduct

Abscond
  • Cooldown changed to 14/13/12/11/10 – from 14 at all ranks
  • [Removed] – resets Sylas’ basic attack timer
  • [Removed] – shields for 80/115/150/185/220 (+100% AP) against magic damage for 2 seconds upon dashing

 

Abduct
  • Base damage increased to 80/130/180/230/280 – from 30/55/80/105/130
  • AP ratio increased to 100% AP – from 20% AP
  • [Removed] – casts Chain Lash Chain Lash while dashing

Varus

Q – Piercing Arrow

  • Cooldown lowered to 18/16/14/12/10 – from 20/18/16/14/12
  • Blight stack detonation cooldown reduction lowered to 3 seconds – from 4 seconds

Vi

R – Assault and Battery

  • [New] – “Vi will be unstoppable during the entire animation of her ultimate.” [vs. live, where she can be displaced during the uppercut animation]

Zyra

E – Grasping Roots

  • Vine Lasher slow potency lowered to 25% – from 30%
  • [New] – Slows from multiple Vine Lashers stack up to 2 times

 

Item Balance Changes

The following items will be changed, some getting new effects, new prices and losing some other bonuses or effects. It seems patch 10.1 has focused heavily on support items, since their effects and quest gold have been changed.

Frostfang / Harrowing Crescent / Runesteel Spaulders / Targon’s Buckler

  • [New] – grants 50% base mana regeneration.
  • Quest gold required to upgrade [Frostfang to Shard of True Ice] / [Harrowing Crescent to Black Mist Scythe] / [Runesteel Spaulders to Pauldrons of Whiterock] / [Targon’s Buckler to Bulwark of the Mountain] increased to 750 from 500 gold

Shard of True Ice

  • Ability power lowered to 45 – from 60.
  • Health lowered to 100 – from 150.
  • [New] – grants 100% base mana regeneration.
  • [Removed] – receive diminishing gold from excessive minion kills.

Black Mist Scythe

  • Attack damage lowered to 25 from 35.
  • Health lowered to 100 from 150.
  • [New] – grants 100% base mana regeneration.
  • [Removed] – receive diminishing gold from excessive minion kills.

Pauldrons of Whiterock

  • [New] – grants 50% base health regeneration.
  • [Removed] – receive diminishing gold from excessive minion kills.

Bulwark of the Mountain

  • Ability power lowered to 25 from 40.
  • [New] – grants 100% base health regeneration.
  • [Removed] – receive diminishing gold from excessive minion kills.

Relic Shield / Spectral Sickle / Spellthief’s Edge / Steel Shoulderguards

  • [New] – grants 25% base health regeneration.

 

Runes

So far, the only changes to runes are for the Eyeball Collection.

Eyeball Collection [Domination]

  • AD per eyeball collected increased to 1.2 – from .06
  • AP per eyeball collected increased to 2 – from 1
  • Complete eyeball collection lowered to 10 – from 20
  • Eyeballs per Champion takedown lowered to 1 – from 2
