Latest Leaks Reveal Launch Dates for all Apple Products to Release This Year

A leak on Twitter has just reportedly revealed the release dates for every Apple product the company is set to launch between now and mid-fall, including the iPhone 12 and the AirPower, as well as the first MacBooks featuring Apple Silicon and Apple Glass.

As per to @komiya_kj, the late 2020 updates will go live on August 19th with a new iMac, AirPods Studio, HomePod 2, and HomePod Mini, all announced on Apple’s website.

When is Apple Said to Launch the New Products?

Earlier this morning, it was revealed that the next iMac could be released in August, although it may only be a slight refresh. The new model was also announced to feature an Intel CPU, and it seems like these two reports are in agreement.

On September 8th, the big release is set to take place – the iPhone 12 series will be revealed, alongside Apple Watch Series 6, AirTags, and a new iPad. Still, that is probably the least surprising leak when it comes to Apple’s launches of this year.

Apple’s first ARM-powered MacBook and the 13-inch MacBook Pro, as well as a new iPad Pro and a new Apple TV, will launch on October 27th, according to the leaks. Alongside these products, the company will allegedly also release AirPower, either during the September or October event.

Although Apple said the AirPower was dead, it seems like the engineers working for the company managed to bypass the obstacles the charging mat threw at them. The product may come with a smaller, single-purpose wireless charger known as the AirPower Mini.

Elsewhere, @komiya_kj added that Apple Glass may also launch in the October event, but only if that is not virtual, but in person. That is a lot of products in a rather short period. What’s more, it features a few categories that are new for the Cupertino-based company, between the AirPods Studio over-the-ear headphones, AirTags NFC locators, and AirPower charging mat.

It’s no secret that most of these products have been under development for years; however, it is astonishing to think we could probably get them all in a span of three months. With the first ones reportedly coming in mid-August, it shouldn’t be long before we see how accurate this timeline really is.

Will the iPhone 12 Series Launch With Delays?

On the other hand, two other rumors have surfaced, and neither offers good news for fans. The first update comes through a new report from Macotakara, which says that a number of iPhone 12 models could be delayed until November. That is two months later than the previous batch of iPhones launched last year. Macotakara is pretty reliable in terms of reports on as-yet-unannounced Apple products.

The news of a delayed release date mentions multiple Chinese suppliers. As per the leakers from the supply chain, iPhone 12 could be revealed towards the end of October and not in September, as the other report we mentioned claims. After the big reveal, Apple will allegedly unveil a 4G-only iPhone 12 sometime in October as well, with the 5G-powered models set to launch in November.

That’s not where the bad news ends. A separate rumor spreading on Twitter this week claims to reveal the battery capacity of one of the models in the iPhone 12 range. The report, which mentions a filling in South Korea, states that at least one of the models will have a 2,775 mAh battery capacity.

Apple is also widely rumored to release an iPhone with a smaller 5.4-inch display – compared to the 5-8-inch screen on the smallest of the current bunch of smartphones. Smaller displays need less power, so perhaps that explains the smaller battery.
