iPhone 12 vs. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

Starting with Samsung’s flagship, we don’t see many new differences from its predecessors. However, the company combines some premium materials that scream luxury. The metal and glass build plus Gorilla Glass Victus panels give the phone a nice, durable touch. Its design is smooth and elegant, making many consumers go for the Mystic Bronze option.

On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Max is not very different from the Galaxy Noe 20 Ultra model. Apple also smoothed its premium version compared to its predecessors. The stainless steel build is fantastic, coupled with the biggest screen an iPhone ever had. The 6.7-inches version features a Super Retina XDR OLED display, which makes it even more attractive. Compared to Samsung’s flagship, Apple went for Ceramic Shield panels.

One worth mentioning thing is the fact that both Apple and Samsung have built powerhouse smartphones this year. Therefore, if you want the best phone experience, you’ll be happy with either one of them. Both models have in common the storage options; however, you can also add a microSD card on the 512GB Galaxy Noe 20 Ultra.

Both phone models have 5G connectivity and support wireless charging. However, the difference is that Samsung offers a wired charger in the box, while Apple sells it separately. You can either go for an 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, or 7W standard charging for iPhone 12 Pro Max. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra offers a 25W wired charger for free, a 15W wireless charging, or 4.5W reverse charging.

Samsung stands out thanks to its upgraded S Pen, while Apple is proudly showing off its MagSafe feature. In terms of the camera, both flagships should pull it through. Since iPhone 12 Max is not available yet, we can speak only about the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra results, which are impressive.

Price

Another difference between the two is the price. The 128GB Galaxy Note 20 Ultra costs $1,299, while the 512GB model is priced at $1,449. iPhone 12 Pro Max is slightly cheaper at $1,099 for the 128GB model. The 256GB version costs $1,199, while the 512GB variant is available at $1,399.

Conclusion

Both models come at a skyrocketing price; however, that is expected since they are currently the world’s best smartphones. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra advantages are:

  • a larger display
  • better resolution and faster refresh rate
  • more RAM
  • expandable storage
  • better primary camera
  • S Pen

iPhone 12 Pro Max advantages over Samsung’s flagship are:

  • MagSafe feature
  • Ceramic Shield

Keep in mind the phone is not out already, and until thoroughly reviewed, we can’t have a final opinion.
