Honor, a Huawei sub-brand has entered the smartphone market after it began launching its series of mobile devices in June of every year since 2013. Now, a new report claims that the company intends to launch a new lineup of smartphones in April of this year.
The report was surfaced by @Rodent950 on Twitter, and it suggests that Honor is prepared to bring the new flagship mobile devices series in April 2020. The series is expected to be called Honor 30.
Honor 30 Series’ Expected Features And Specs
The forthcoming smartphone lineup is most probably going to pack the Kirin 900 SoC, as well as a punch-hole camera that is allegedly a 64MP sensor, a high-resolution rear camera, and a quad rear camera setup. In addition, it will apparently come with a fingerprint scanner and fast charging.
The refresh rate of the series’ display will reportedly be 90Hz, according to 91Mobiles. However, this might be just speculation, as the report from @Rodent950 states that the manufacturing process of the devices hasn’t yet started. Moreover, it also claims that the Indian version of the series will pack a different version of Android.
The 9X Lite is Prepared For Launch
In the meantime, the tech giant intends to release the 9X Lite, which is the third mobile device manufactured under the 9X series. As a matter of fact, the company has already released a teaser, and it appears that the upcoming mobile device is probably going to feature a 48MP Dual Camera.
The smartphone is expected to have a fingerprint scanner on the rear side, and the power button, as well as the volume keys, will allegedly be placed on the right side of it. Besides these features, the rear camera setup will host a flashlight as well.
Honor launched the 9X and 9X Pro in China in 2019, packed with the Kirin 810 chipset. Currently, there are no details regarding the SoC on the upcoming 9X Lite, but numerous reports surfacing are claiming that the phone will be powered by either Kirin 710 or Kirin 710F.
