What you can do with these two folders is to delete them, hide them, move them, or use them. The camera roll and saved pictures folders can be found in the pictures folder itself. It doesn’t matter what kind of picture app you will use, all the photos will be using the saved folder for them. So, let’s see what you can do with these two folders.

Windows 10 – How to Delete, Edit, or Move Camera Roll Folder and Saved Pictures

These two folders will use all your photos if you use a photo app, and if not, the folders will remain empty. If you give a search now and find the folders empty, you can delete them. What is funny and maybe annoying at some point is the fact that even you remove them now, they will still appear. Also, the default settings will store your pictures there, and then your next move can actually be to move them to other folders.

You can move them by cutting them and paste them in another director. But try right-click on the folder and click Properties, after that select Location Tab. In the location tab, you will type the destination where you want to move it.

Also, you can always reverse the movement by clicking on the folder and then pressing Restore Default. You will have your folder back in pictures. If you decided to move the camera roll and saved pictures and forgot where don’t worry. Start the run feature by pressing Windows and R and type “Camera Roll” or “Saved Pictures” and then Enter.

The correct folder will open for you. Another option is to hide the camera roll and saved pictures folders if you don’t want to delete them or move them. Highlight both folder and press View Tab from the ribbon. You will find the Show or Hide section and press Hide. If you want to reverse the process, do the same, and click on Show. In essence, hiding, moving, or deleting the Camera Roll and Saved Pictures folders are quite easy to do. Enjoy the new trips and tricks!
