GTA V will soon become better than ever along with a new massive update announced by Rockstar for the upcoming months. A brand new location will become available to the online mode of the insanely popular game (aka GTA Online), and who knows what else. GTA Online is receiving a lot of attention from Rockstar, as it gets weekly updates and it awaits some massive expansions.
GTA V will even become available as an enhanced version for the two upcoming next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. But the good news is far from over when it’s about a blockbuster game like Grand Theft Auto V.
PC’s and Next-Gen consoles will get special treatment
Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, revealed some precious info:
“For the Grand Theft Auto Online community, the journey will continue on next generation,”
“with more new updates, including additional content exclusive to the new consoles and PC.”
This move won’t have to surprise anyone, as PC’s can theoretically keep up in terms of hardware power with both PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Although it was released in 2013, GTA V remains a great game, and Steam describes it very well:
“When a young street hustler, a retired bank robber and a terrifying psychopath find themselves entangled with some of the most frightening and deranged elements of the criminal underworld, the U.S. government and the entertainment industry, they must pull off a series of dangerous heists to survive in a ruthless city in which they can trust nobody, least of all each other.”
The upcoming enhanced version of GTA 5 for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X is aiming to adapt to the advanced hardware of the two upcoming consoles. GTA V has sold over 130 million copies worldwide, and we can only expect that this number will increase even more in the near future.
