You may be aware of the fact that Rockstar releases a new franchise launch every four to five years.
The previous GTA game was terrific and massive as well, and it’s no wonder that fans are excited about the potential release date on the new installment.
The enormous success that the game has is mainly thanks to the excellent and consistent updates coming from Rockstar for GTA Online, so it’s understandable that the game’s fans cannot wait to get their hands in the new game, GTA 6.
GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games, and there are tons of rumors surrounding its launch and more.
GTA 6 latest rumors – an exclusive PS5 game?
Some of the most recent rumors surrounding the game are that the title will only be accessible on next-generation consoles, will have Vice City return, and that the game will be set throughout various time frames.
Just in case you don’t know, there was an anonymous post on Pastebin at the end of last year.
This post was reportedly written by a third-party developer that somehow got the massive change to check out Sony’s plans for the PlayStation 5.
The post claimed that the tech giant had paid an enormous amount of cash for a month of exclusivity for GTA 6, which would be a PS5 launch game.
What makes this leak so interesting is the fact that it got the information about the PS5 correctly before Sony itself had officially revealed these.
That’s why the source could be a pretty viable one worthy of being taken into consideration.
GTA 6 in 2020
It’s been also revealed that there’s a new comment coming from Rockstar Games, the publisher of the game, that may have hinted at the fact that GTA 6 could actually be released next year, just as most rumors have been suggesting.
Rob Nelson, co-studio chief at Rockstar North, stated that GTA Online would have a “year out.”
He said: “We try to keep plans going roughly a year out, but we want to have the flexibility to be responsive to any changes. So we choose not to telegraph that entire timeline to players. That said, players should feel confident that we have a ton of brand new ideas still to come.”
”It’s been six years, and we just hit record player numbers, and we are all incredibly grateful to everyone who’s been with us along the way,” Nelson continued.
