Google Stadia gets a launch date in the UK. Some UK fans, however, are not sure about it. It is going to be released on November 19. Pre-orders for Founder’s Edition start at 5 pm BST for the UK. Users will be able to get their hands on Red Dead Redemption2, Mortal Kombat 11, and Kine for TV. They could play on desktops, smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Developers stated that “Whether you ordered Stadia Founder’s Edition or Premiere Edition, you’ll have three months of Stadia Pro, with access to Destiny 2: The Collection.”
New Google Stadia users will get a Buddy Pass, which can be shared with friends. Also, Google said that “A three-month Stadia Pro subscription that you can give away to a friend.” The company will also release a free Base subscription version next year. This feature will discard 4K streaming, exclusive discounts, and free games for a 1080p resolution.
What We Know About Google Stadia So Far
The service represents an upcoming cloud gaming feature developed by Google Company. Developers explained how Stadia would stream video games up to 4K resolution. It will also support the high-dynamic-range. Google Stadia will be available on the Google Chrome browser for smartphones, tablets, or smart TVs through Chromecast.
Stadia is in collaboration with YouTube, letting users launch a game on the service on the same save mode as the streamer. Also, the service uses HID class USB controllers. Google Stadia, however, will be nothing like the popular service Netflix. Meaning, we won’t have to pay for access to the games library. Google developers will make available a Pro version of Stadia, too. Users who choose this feature will pay a monthly subscription and will enjoy streaming at higher rates for bigger resolutions.
