Garena Free Fire: Brawler Bash Tournament Date Has Been Announced

Garena Free Fire’s rapid expansion has gone unnoticed over the last few months, but the developers have taken this opportunity to introduce more exciting things into the game. The title has been announced to receive another tournament this month, an open-to-all event, which is known as the Free Fire Brawler Bash.

Free Fire eSports has posted on the official Instagram page information regarding the tournament, including the prize pool and the schedule. The event offers 150,000 diamonds as a reward for the team that participates in it.

The FCC qualified stare will take place on July 10th, and 36 teams will be able to advance. The knockout rounds, divided into three teams, will start on July 17th and take place until July 19th. The finals will be held on July 16th.

The 36 teams selected from the qualifier stage, which is called Free Fire Cup (FFC), will be divided into three groups, named A, B, and C. Each of these groups will have 12 teams and will follow ‘the best of four’ format to decide the qualifiers for the following round. The top four teams from each group will get to the finals, played in ‘the best of six’ format.

Free Fire Registers Record Usage

In April 2020, Garena Free Fire hit a rerecord-breaking in monthly paying users, which has doubled year after year. Monthly-paying users account for more than ten percent of the game’s active players per month. Garena Free Fire also holds the record for being among the most downloaded games ever and boasting more than 80 million peak daily active players. With the introduction of the eSports event, the player base has allegedly increased further.
