Developers of Cyberpunk 2077, CD PROJEKT RED, unveiled quite the intriguing fact about the upcoming game. A Nintendo Switch port could happen soon for the highly expected game. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to be launched in 2020 for PCs, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
The game showcased amazing graphics that fans thought would be possible on the next-gen platforms. After The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 has now the title of the most expected game so far. And the news of a Switch port could only make it better. John Mamais, however, a developer from CD PROJEKT RED, talked about the possibility of a Nintendo Switch port for Cyberpunk. He said, “Who would have thought a game like The Witcher 3 would be possible on Switch, so who knows? I guess we’ll see if we decide to put it on the Switch if we can do it. Probably not.” It appears that we could only keep our fingers crossed harder this time. It would be a significant hit, considering The Witcher 3 graphics performance is slightly less intensive on Switch.
Cyberpunk 2077, however, is predicted to hit huge sales and create quite a buzz. The news about its shock sales came from Dr. Serkan Toto, the CEO of Kantan Games. He said that some investors who have been following Cyberpunk 2077’s developers had made significant claims about the upcoming sales. Dr. Serkan Toto explained, “There is a group of investors out there that bets their next game (Cyberpunk 2077) is overhyped and won’t reach the 25-30 million sales threshold some people on finance project.”
