Clash of Clans massive success
Supercell’s Clash of Clans reportedly had its best month revenue-wise in December 2019.
The info comes from Superdata market intelligence firm that claims the last month the game made $158.2 million in revenues, and this was mostly thanks to content updates and holiday sales.
These also boosted the game’s MAUs and conversion rates, though exact estimates were not shared.
This also meant that Clash of Clans was the top-grossing game of the month, and it’s been positioned ahead of Honor of Kings and Candy Crush Saga.
PocketGamer reveals that the game has been revamped last year with the launch of its Gold Pass subscription.
This reportedly “generated $27 million in its first week of service. 2019 was also the first year that the game saw a year-on-year increase in revenues since 2015,” according to the online publication mentioned above.
