So can I change the number?
First of all, you need to launch the GBWhatsApp app from your phone. When it opens, you need to tap on the three vertical dots from the upper right corner of the app. Then go to Settings from the menu. From there, select “Account.” Then you need to scroll and find “Change number.” Tap on it in order to change it. Then you need to tap on the Next button from the top right corner. In the next window, enter the current number of your profile, and on the next tab enter the new number – the one that you want to replace the old one with. After all of this, you will need to verify the number. You can do it by entering the OTP, which WhatsApp will include in an SMS to the new number. You can also choose the calling feature in order to get the OTP. After you enter the OTP and you verify the number, GBWhatsApp will reboot, and the new number will get associated with the app on your device. The new number that got associated with GBWhatsApp does not get shared with the users that know your old associated number.
If you want to get back to your old number, you need to go to Settings in GBWhatsApp and go to Account. Go to the Change Number option, and type the old number there. You need to keep in mind that if you are in any WhatsApp groups, they will get informed about you changing your number in GBWhatsApp.
