Call of Duty Warzone Battle Royale Gathered Over 15 Million Players

Call of Duty Warzone has reached an incredible record of 15 million players. Fans’ devotion to the game seems to hit a significant milestone. Only two days passed after the first record of 6 million fans was announced. And it was after the early 24 hours of its release! Currently, Activision witnesses how the record incredibly doubled. How significant is such a thing for the game? Also, which could be the next numbers for COD Warzone?

Call of Duty Warzone Became The Most Praised Game Out There

Comparing Warzone’s recent record with Apex Legends’ – EA’s free-to-play battle game developed in the Titanfall world reached 50 million players over a month – we notice COD’s performance. Warzone can also be considered a threat to Fortnite’s record, which has now hit 250 million players. Such higher results of COD Warzone could make the title reach even higher milestones.

As devs stated, Warzone is a new free-to-play battle Call of Duty game that brings 150 players against each other across two different modes, the Battle Royale and the Plunder. The Plunder missions, for example, involve gathering lots of money through stealing, loot, and finishing in-game Contracts. Battle Royale, on the other hand, brings some innovations such as battles between removed players that allow the winner respawn to the game.
